Womens Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book
Tue 9 - Sun 14 Mar 10
In 1985 Lyn Earl purchased a book that changed her life forever, as well as the lives of her three sons. That book was the Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book.
In 2008 Josh Earl performed a show where he briefly mentioned this book. The reaction was like nothing he had experienced before. People wanted to talk about this book. They couldn’t concentrate on the next joke because they were thinking of the cakes in this book. Josh promised that he would come back next year and do a show all about this book.
This is that show.
“you’ll want to give him a warm hug by the show’s end. Fans of Flight of the Conchords take note.” The Age
“Josh Earl is fabulous! To find a comedian that has you laughing the entire way through a show is hard. To find one that you could happily sit through another hour of is almost impossible, but he managed to do just that. Take your mum - or your teenager!” Bridie Toomer, Rip It Up Mar 2010
