Punk rock. New York. London. Brisbane?

In the late 1970’s Brisbane was a conservative backwater – with a thriving punk rock underbelly. Bored teenager Ross Daniels stumbled into a netherworld of wild gigs, misfits and police violence – all while staying with his right wing, church-going grandparents.

Returning to the city where it all happened, Ross Daniels presents Punked – a first-hand account of street riots, feral music and pumpkin scones.

Directed by Emilie Collyer.

Ross Daniels, Nominee Best Comedy, Adelaide Fringe Festival 2011

“If they made movies like Dr. Strangelove anymore, he'd be Peter Sellers." - Chortle

Recommended for people aged 15 years and over. Contains coarse language and adult themes.
